Kids’ Crochet KC059
(All Levels — Ages 8 & up) Both beginners and kids with crochet experience will enjoy learning to crochet a fun project — choose a bookmark, kitty, popsicle cozy, Hello Kitty necklace/scarf or pattern of your choice. Click on picture to see all class projects.

Intro to Machine Sewing 1 CC030
(Level 1) Learn the basics of machine sewing... Start by learning the different parts of your sewing machine, how to thread your machine and wind your bobbin, and how to pin your material together to prepare it for sewing. Learn about seam allowance, how to sew straight lines, curved lines, and how to pivot your work. And last learn how to zig-zag on and off the edge of your fabric for a finished edge. Use your new skills to make a Kleenex holder and/or eye glass holder you will be proud to use.

Intro to Machine Sewing 2 CC036
(All Levels) This class will review how to thread your sewing machine, and all the basic sewing machine skills. You will learn how to sew a beginner friendly project. Choose between an apron, zipper pouch, pillowcase or a tote bag.

Pam, an avid collector of paper and ephemera, has combined her passions of history and paper to create items from found objects, recycled books, and papers. She hopes to share her enthusiasm and inspire you to create your own treasures from everyday things!
The Art of Locking Love Letters CP115
(All Levels) Come learn to make Regency and Victorian enclosures for love notes, gifts, invitations, Valentines, tea parties, and journals. Make three projects during the class: Russian Triangle — to practice folds and learn the terminology (and they make wonderful bookmarks); Regency Locking Letter — for invitations, announcements, and Thank You’s; Victorian Love Letter Locket — to hold gifts, for invitations, and Thank You’s. Pam will demonstrate how to fold each letter, give tips, and teach steps one-on-one. Samples of the step-by-step directions will be available, along with written handouts. You will make one blank letter example for practice before using decorative paper. (These blank letters will be a reference when not in class.) Complete all three Letters and hopefully have time to make more, plus confetti and button bands that wrap around your Victorian Locket, as much as you want.

Knitted Button Up Hooded Cowl with Nadine CA015
(Level 2) Slip the Button Up Hooded Cowl on and go! Knitting a rectangular piece with one row of increases creates a shape that drapes gently over the shoulders. It’s the perfect project to hone in on the skill of picking up stitches. The straight side edge pieces make it easy to identify which holes to go through. Choose two of your favorite contrasting colors of yarn and get started on this chic wardrobe enhancing knit. There is plenty of ease to pull it up over your head for an easy hood, and add simple and smart polish to your wardrobe!

Knit and Crochet with Sheilah — Focus on Knitted Hitofude Sweater CA020
(Level 2) The word Hitofude is Japanese, and it means Single Stroke, referring to the fact that this sweater is constructed in the most unconventional way possible — made from just one thread! And when you are finished, all you'll need to do is sew in the beginning and ending threads. No seaming is necessary... and Sheilah’s sweater needed just a bit of finishing to complete. As a bonus, Sheilah will also provide a pattern for a matching Hitofude hat and sock, OR get help with any unfinished Sheilah project.

Crazy Patch Embroidery (February) RE322
(Level 2) In each Crazy Patch Embroidery class, a different set of stitches is taught that can be made into a “stitch page", added to your crazy patch, or to a special project. February is the last section of our four-part circle medallion project. We will be incorporating silk ribbon flowers, traditional and non-traditional embroidery stitches, and of course, some beads for that perfect embellishment.

(Level 2 — basic crochet experience required.) Learn a new and easy, fun crochet technique — Tunisian crochet. Up-Cycled and Embellished Clothing CC037
(All Levels) Whether it be a pair of pants, a flannel or even a skirt, watch how these garments transform as you add, alter and embellish. Learn how to use scraps of fabric, methods of layering, cutting away and raveling to create your own unique garment or purse! You can purchase a “stash kit” which will include a wide variety of fabrics from cottons to fancies, and laces and trims to further the inspiration of your soon-to-be original!

Crazy Patch Embroidery (Spring) RE322
(Level 2) In each Crazy Patch Embroidery class, a different set of stitches is taught that can be made into a “stitch page", added to your crazy patch, or to a special project. April is part one of a three session wall hanging/runner class that you will be able to finish before Halloween! April's block: the witch. Featuring wool felting and slow stitched “pieced” fabric as the background, she has a felt body with thread embroidery as part of her clothing, some decorative beaded accents that makes this character one-of-kind! May's block: the cat, which also has a felt body with a needle felted head, and a pieced background embellished with touches of embroidery. June's block: the skeleton. This block has a stripped, pieced background with an embroidered skeleton body and felt head and hat. It is embellished with Sadi and metallic threads including some basic embroidery stitches. Purchase the kits to get all the spooky goodies! 🧙♀️
